SYMBIOZA STUDIO 2
CANCELLATION POLICY
Symbioza Studio 2 is our group movement, breath and education space in North Perth — home to group Mat Pilates classes that incorporate mobility, breathwork and Zoga-inspired movement, alongside related workshops and community sessions.
Our classes run in small groups, and most sessions carry a waitlist of people hoping a place will open. This policy explains what happens when you need to change or cancel a booking, so that everyone in the community has a fair chance at a spot.
What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to all Symbioza Studio 2 group classes, workshops, events and community sessions, however named or scheduled. It sits alongside, and does not replace, the Symbioza Studio 2 Liability Waiver, which covers physical risk and health disclosure, and the Symbioza Studio 2 Terms & Conditions, where our full booking, pricing and refund terms are set out.
It does not apply to Symbioza Studio 1 services — Clinical Pilates, 1:1 or semi-private sessions, or manual therapy — which run under their own separate arrangements.
Giving Notice
Please cancel at least 8 hours before your class start time, through your Symbioza Studio 2 account in Mindbody or through your booking confirmation. We are not able to accept cancellations by phone, text or social media, as these are not always seen in time to offer your place to someone on the waitlist.
If you cancel more than 8 hours before your class, that class returns to your pass or pack, ready to use again.
Cancelling Late, or Not Arriving
If you cancel within 8 hours of your class start time, or do not arrive without cancelling, that class is used from your pass or pack — the same as if you had attended. There is no additional fee of any kind.
If you are on the Intro Offer, which gives unlimited classes rather than a set number, there is no class credit to use — but we ask the same courtesy of cancelling at least 8 hours ahead, so that your place can go to someone on the waitlist.
We understand that life moves. If you realise you cannot make it, please still cancel, even at the last minute. It costs you nothing further, and it gives us the chance to offer your place to someone waiting for it.
Arriving Late
Please arrive a few minutes before your class begins. Joining after a class is underway interrupts the group and means missing the warm-up, which is where we prepare the body for everything that follows. If you do arrive late, please speak with your instructor — whether you are able to join, and whether the class is used from your pass or pack, is at their discretion on the day.
Waitlist Bookings
When a place opens, it is offered automatically to the next person on the waitlist. If you are moved from the waitlist into a confirmed place within the 8-hour window, this policy applies from that moment — the place is now yours, and is no longer available to anyone else.
Genuine Circumstances
Illness and emergencies happen, and we would always rather hear from you. If something unavoidable comes up, please tell a member of the Symbioza team or email hello@symbioza.com.au. We consider genuine one-off circumstances individually.
Classes We Cancel
If Symbioza cancels or reschedules a class — for example due to instructor illness, low enrolment, a public holiday or venue availability — any class used for that booking is returned to your pass or pack at no cost to you.
Updates to This Policy
This policy applies to your bookings from the date you accept it, and remains in effect unless Symbioza issues an updated version. The current version is always the one published on our website and in Mindbody.
If anything in this policy is unclear, please ask a member of the Symbioza team before booking.
SYMBIOZA STUDIO 2
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Symbioza Studio 2 is our group movement, breath and education space in North Perth — home to group Mat Pilates classes that incorporate mobility, breathwork and Zoga-inspired movement, alongside related workshops and community sessions. These terms set out how bookings, passes, payments and refunds work, so that you know where you stand before you book with us.
Who These Terms Are With
These terms are an agreement between you and Anna Szymanska trading as Symbioza (ABN 18 692 545 435) (“Symbioza”, “we”, “us”). By booking or purchasing with Symbioza Studio 2, you agree to them.
What These Terms Cover
These terms apply to all Symbioza Studio 2 group classes, workshops, events and community sessions, however named or scheduled.
They sit alongside the Symbioza Studio 2 Liability Waiver, which covers physical risk, health disclosure and release of liability, and the Symbioza Studio 2 Cancellation Policy, which sets out our notice window and what happens when a booking is missed. You accept all three before your first booking, and together they form our agreement with you.
These terms are specific to Symbioza Studio 2. Symbioza Studio 1's services — Clinical Pilates, 1:1 or semi-private sessions, or manual therapy — run under their own separate arrangements.
Bookings
Classes and workshops are booked through Mindbody, either directly or through the booking widget on our website. If a class is full, you can join the waitlist and will be notified automatically if a place opens up.
Right to Change the Schedule
Symbioza may need to cancel a class, change an instructor, or adjust the timetable — for example due to instructor illness, low enrolment, public holidays, or venue availability.
Where we cancel a class, any class used for that booking is returned to your pass or pack at no cost to you. If you would prefer, we will help you find an alternative session instead.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Please cancel at least 8 hours before your class start time, through your Symbioza Studio 2 account in Mindbody or through your booking confirmation. We are not able to accept cancellations by phone, text or social media, as these are not always seen in time to offer your place to someone on the waitlist.
Our full cancellation terms are set out in the Symbioza Studio 2 Cancellation Policy.
Class Passes & Packs
We currently offer an Intro Offer, Single Class passes, and 10-Class and 20-Class packs.
The Intro Offer gives unlimited classes for 14 days from the date of purchase. Single Class passes are valid for 1 month from purchase, 10-Class packs for 90 days from purchase, and 20-Class packs for 120 days from purchase.
Passes and packs are personal to the purchaser and are not transferable to another person. They are not extendable beyond their validity period, except where required by law.
Pricing & Payment
Payment is processed through Mindbody, which handles both online purchases and in-person card payments in the studio. Prices are set at the time of purchase. If prices change afterwards, a pass or pack you have already bought is honoured at the price you paid until it is used or expires.
Refunds
Class passes and packs are non-refundable once purchased, including for change of mind. This does not affect any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded by these terms.
Age & Minors
Participants must be at least 14 years old to attend Symbioza Studio 2 classes.
Participants aged 14 to 17 must be registered and booked by a parent or legal guardian, who reads and accepts these terms, the Symbioza Studio 2 Liability Waiver and the Symbioza Studio 2 Cancellation Policy on their behalf.
We recommend that anyone under 18 seek medical advice before starting group Pilates, to make sure it is the right fit for them.
Health, Safety & Studio Conduct
Participation in Symbioza Studio 2 activities involves physical risk. The full risk warning, health disclosure and liability release are set out in the Symbioza Studio 2 Liability Waiver, which you accept separately before your first booking.
Symbioza instructors may decline to admit, or may ask a participant to leave, a class, workshop or event where continued participation presents a safety risk to that participant or to others, where a participant's conduct breaches these terms, or where their behaviour is disruptive or otherwise unacceptable towards instructors, staff or other participants.
Personal Belongings
Symbioza is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought into the studio, or for any parking fines incurred while attending, except to the extent that the loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
You are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any Symbioza equipment you damage through misuse. Items left behind are held for one month and then donated to charity.
Photography & Media
From time to time, Symbioza may take photographs or video during Symbioza Studio 2 classes, workshops or events for use in our marketing, website or social media. If you would prefer not to be included, please tell a member of the Symbioza team or email hello@symbioza.com.au, and we will take reasonable steps to exclude you from future promotional material. This does not affect your ability to attend classes.
Workshops & Events
One-off workshops and events may carry their own specific pricing, inclusions or conditions, which will be communicated at the time of booking. Unless stated otherwise, the cancellation terms above still apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on our website and in Mindbody.
Where we update these terms, the updated version applies to bookings and purchases you make after the update. A pass or pack you have already purchased remains subject to the terms in force at the time you bought it.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
General
These terms, together with the Symbioza Studio 2 Liability Waiver and the Symbioza Studio 2 Cancellation Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Symbioza regarding Symbioza Studio 2 group classes, workshops and events, and replace any prior understanding.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full force. If Symbioza does not enforce any part of these terms on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Questions
If anything in these terms is unclear, please contact Symbioza Studio 2 before booking — hello@symbioza.com.au or 0487 253 954.
